LLC as Rental property Manager only to showcase as business income
Hello,
I am rookie who is ready to make my first primary home as a rental property. I will be moving out of my primary home and make it rental house. The deed and mortgages are on our personal names. I have few questions if someone can provide guidance:
#1: Is it okay to use my "XYZ software LLC" (already created earlier last year however no income as such right now) as a rental property manger? I will make a contract between legal owners (my wife and I) with LLC (two member LLC - again my wife and I) and use LLC name for lease with tenants. The only purpose here is to collect rental income as LLC income so that if needed in future, I can take dedications under my LLC.
#2: Is it okay to transfer collected rent from LLC account to personal account and then pay to mortgage? Are there any pass through taxations related problems occur?
#3: I understand that it may not allow me to use LLC advantages for protection since deed is still under my personal name. Is there any better structure that you can recommend to use in this case?
