Casita rented as Section 8 housing in Nevada

Question as to whether anyone has rented to a section 8 tenants a single family home.  I have a Casita in the back of a home and am looking to rent it to a section 8 tenant yet the housing authority will not let it pass inspection due to the fact that it is on the same property as another property.  

any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
