Florida Security Deposit Claim Letter Return to Sender
Hello,
My tenants moved out unexpectedly Nov 4, 2022. I asked for their new address within a week of them vacating and did not receive a response. I sent a letter claiming intent on their security deposit Dec 1 to the last known address according to Florida landlord-tenant law. Dec 27 they finally reply with a new address. Today, I receive my original letter as return to sender. What are my next steps? I haven’t found anything in the laws that says what to do if you get a return letter. Do I send another one even though the time frame to claim has passed?
