Deal Analysis Spreadsheet - Recommendations

Paul Mears
Posted

Hi all

New Member to Bigger Pockets... looking forward to learning from you all.

My first question on this forum is about 'Financial Analytical Tools'. I know that Bigger Pockets (and other companies) have online / cloud based services to calculate deals (ROI, IRR etc), however as I'm just starting out, I would like to understand the Math and details behind these tools.

So I'm looking for advice of where to find a spreadsheet that will be detailed enough for me to calculate my potential deals.  I think that by doing the analysis long-hand or manually, I will learn more and become more comfortable with the numbers... Not sure if anyone has taken the same approach?

Thanks in advance for any help & guidance you can give.

Happy Investing

Paul.
