Possibly condemn a property vs eviction?

Ryan Foy
Posted

Wondering the thoughts from others about possibly condemning a manufactured home recently purchased in the foreclosure auction. It was occupied by tenants at the time of purchase. We are working to evict them. After entering the home there are holes in the subfloor in several places. The only thing you’re standing on is the carpet itself. We have insurance on the property, worried about how that will work if someone gets hurt? I have considered having the home condemned to expedite their evacuation and my repairs. Already offered cash for keys with no luck. Suggestions or experiences?
thanks
