Tenants with no lease Buffalo
We just received paperwork to be able to sell my dads home. Dad is deceased. My brother was living there but 3 years ago he accepted money to allow another guy to live there. We now wish to sell it, the guy has no lease and hasn’t payed anymore money it was a 1x lump sum of 25K. So far he won’t accept cash for keys as he wants 35K. House is worth about 125K. Can we just sell it with him in it? What’s the best way to get him out?

I would hire legal straight away. In Michigan you can enter the property with 24 hours notice. I would go in and document how everything is working.
I would start the eviction process immediately.
