Judge did not file judgement on eviction

Hey BP family!

I purchased a duplex on June 29th, gave my tenant an into letter with the amount of rent owned (same price) and a blank copy of a lease. Tenant was late so I posted a 7 day notice to pay or vacate or July 5th. Tenant still did not pay so I filed for eviction on July 13th. The tenant attempted to pay me partial rent on July 14th but I declined.

We had court yesterday and the judge did not file judgement for eviction because I didn't have a signed lease with the tenant. Now I know I shouldn't have given her a blank lease to look at. The next court date is in two weeks. What should I have prepped to get her out?

Do you think I'd have to give her a 30 day to vacate notice now and restart the eviction process?

PS: The best eviction attorney in Lexington, KY is currently on vacation but I do plan on having him represent me.

Thanks for any feedback!
