Happy Monday, and welcome to our Question of the Week!

Today we are talking about property management. There are lots of options, so what works for you? If you haven't voted in our poll, go to the main forums page! Tell us why you self manage, hire out, or share responsibilities with a partner. If you hire out, what is still part of your responsibility? What should someone know before hiring? If you self manage, what do you do to keep yourself organized?

Let's get talking!

I self-manage all of my properties
I hire out full-time property management
I sometimes self-manage, sometimes hire it out
Other
I don’t own property, I just want to see the poll results!

I own a property management company, but I use my company/employees to manage my properties and I charge myself a property management fee. I also have a vacation rental and have hired a property manager for that, even though it's located 30 minutes away.

My personal freedom is more important than a few more dollars. Doing everything myself may build wealth 5 - 10% faster, but at what cost?
