    Thanks for the info Nathan but this is for East Lansing.   I haven't been able to find the same for the City of Lansing.

    Hey Ryan. For a NEW rental registration, it's gonna be $400. For a change of ownership of an existing rental, it's gonna be $200. Then you will have your inspection fee every three years that will vary based on the type of building and how many units. If you want to connect, I can email you the City forms.

    Hi Troy,

    I was wondering if you still had this information available? I am weighing the options of converting my single family home into a rental, verses selling it. There appears to be very little information readily available. I have found the rental property codes but no specifics on cost or how to apply for a rental license or certificate of compliance-not even on LARA.
