Tenant contested the ruling of the judge
Hello,
I filed for a eviction do to none payment of rent by in May and excessive noise for a tenant I had for 4 years. He was starting to become more noisy. I have over 3 years of report and notices that’s been documented
I think he was upset I increased his rent but proud got the best of him so he started saying he had a sink issues that was clot. Which caused me to have hundreds of dollars in damages because it was neglected on his behind which the general contractor said. Also he had a lady friend damage the front door class. I was again waking up 1am because of fighting with this women outside of the home. I called the cops. That morning I informed him he would have to pay for the damages she caused to the door. I forgot to mention I am house hacking so I lived below him with my children. It’s a duplex.
From thatt day he started harassing. He knocked at my personal door. I didn’t answer because I was home alone with my children. Then he called me and texted asking if I could push charging on this women. Then called again at 9pm asking for a receipt for the class being repaired. Started send emoji to my phone. Fast forward we go to court he told the judge he didn’t have May rent. The lease has been month to month for 3 years. I informed the judge he needed to move out for non payment and asked me to give him 30 days to move. He tried to give me a check for non payment but I refused it. After the 30th day he went to the bigger court to contest the original judges order. And is basically saying he isn’t leaving! Any advice?
