Let a tenant out of their lease

Posted

I am knew to being a landlord. I understand that my question can be different in each state. I had a tenant sign a year lease and after 4 days wanted out of the lease.  I granted her her request. In the lease they have to give a 30 day notice. So, I charger her 4 days into the next month to make 30 full days. The tenant moved all of thier stuff out and gave back the key. Do I have to wait for the 30 day up before I can rent out the unit?? My place is in MN.
