I have been using MySmartMove.com through Postlets.com for most of my tenant screening. About 20% of the time potential tenants become frustrated because they cannot seem to submit their application completely yet they feel their credit cards have been charged. Has anyone else run into this?

I know the answer is that they in fact have not completely submitted their application. The charge they see on their credit card is really only a temporary authorization that will drop off in about a week if they never complete the transaction.

I just wonder why they cannot seem to fully submit their application. Without sounding horribly disrespectful, I know a portion of this is based on the lack of internet skills some of my tenants possess. But, perhaps MySmartMove could improve upon its layout to cater to a more elementary base-user.

In the interim, what other tenant screening sites do you recommend?
