Should a landlord be required to install blinds for windows up hi

Hey everyone,

I have a tenant that had a strange request but from over the course of past year I realize they are very sensitive to heat. I have a brand new 5 ton ac unit but here in socal it does get very hot and sun sets towards front of their house. They are European from Netherlands and are use to the cold. They do always pay on time (4k/month) and I can tell from visiting they do a good job of keeping the place very tidy. These windows up top have never had blinds and no tenant prior in 20 years ever requested them. They want motorized blinds which are about $350 total. At first I wanted to flat out say no but then I messaged if they would go in half at which he replied these windows should have blinds. What are you guys take on this?
