New Landlording/Househacking Future tenants and current tenants
I recently went under contract for a Duplex that I'm looking to house hack. The numbers work out great for while I live in it and if I were to rent out both units. There is already a tenant in place which is under market rent, that tenant is moving out and another lease is already signed by the previous landlord. Do I have to stick to this next lease even though it has been signed? I'd like to get closer to market rents obviously and wasn't able to vet/background check this upcoming tenant, any help is greatly appreciated!
Thank you
