Being evicted for no reason and need help ASAP

Not sure if this is the place or proper. I am fairly new to BP end of last year to start the investing journey.  Thought someone here may be able to help and let me know if I have any recourse.  I have never rented before so new to me.

I own a very reputable ranch improvement company in TX. Long story short I hope. I had a customer who bought a ranch as an investment and the house was empty. They wouldn't use it because they have a place down the street. He needed a lot of work done at his place, and we were going to develop the new place into 10 ac tracks. I would do his work and put in the infrastructure at the new place. All tracks were to be sold first and mine last. I did this mainly to seel my house take my equity and invest into some smaller properties to clean up and flip or split. I sent him a 2 yr contract as we were preparing to move. He said he had to have his lawyer look but not to worry, we would take care of it and he would take care of us. Then he sent me his contract which seemed to be a pretty generic contract and I asked him to add the specifics and let's sign it. He never would just kept telling me not to worry. ...by this time we had moved and he never would sign.  The Bottom line is now he has decided to sell only my house and 10 ac to a friend and given me 60 days to get out. I was notified basically Tuesday out of the blue, by the realtor, that they wanted to show the house on wed and asked to get out later in the week.
I believe he is out of money(relative to him, he still owns at least 500K in extra cars). I have done 60K in work for him this year that was supposed to go towards rent. Rent was only 48 for the year at june 1. I have moved all my business stuff, I have 1 employee and his roommate, in the front house that is part of the deal and horses etc. It will be very hard for me to find something that can accommodate the animals and business etc. My guys should be able to find another place fairly easy since they are just 20yr olds with not much stuff. However, I still think 60 days is unfair to them as well. He has offered to pay 5k in moving expenses and 3800X3 months rent(not in writing). Not sure if he will pay the amount owed for work either. He has done nothing in writing except an email telling me to be out in 60 days. I didn't acknowledge that I received it. He won't meet me face to face. I am probably going to have to rent a house and a shop for the business and pawn horses to friends until I can find something.

Should I file a lien to protect me from not getting paid?  What else can I do?
