Notice to terminate?

Hi everyone! I'm new so bare with me. Im in Port Elgin, ON Canada. 

Here's my situation. I have a 4 bed 2 bath house that I was renting the rooms out in. But I'm having a hard time keeping up with the work load of tenants in and out as my wife is unwell and we have 2 small kids. Now I have 2 empty rooms and 1 will be leaving in a month or so. Our plan is to change this rental into a long term rental. How do I go about terminating the last room rental tenant. He's on a week to week lease. I've been reading our tenant act and I'm not sure if I can just terminate it by simply giving him the appropriate days notice. Any help would be great. I've also had no problems from him what so ever. I just can't afford only 1 room filled. Perhaps I can give him notice and right of first refusal of a year lease for the whole house?
