Early Move out inspection

A tenant has requested an early move out inspection take place in a California rental before he moves any property out. 

It isn’t taking place of a final inspection, however he is very confrontational about demanding a list of what he will be charged with. 

I do not think it is necessary due to having a move out inspection after the fact as well. 

Is an early one required? Am I required to give him an opportunity to fix issues prior to deducting from security deposit? 

First time I’ve heard of this.
