Hydro jetting as preventative maintenance
Hello everybody,
I was wondering if anyone has every hydro jetted a main sewer line as preventative maintenance. I just had a sewer backup scare in my rental property that has me thinking maybe it would be worth it to possibly catch any issues like roots in the line. The issue is hopefully resolved, it was likely caused by "flushable" wipes being used in my basement unit causing the ejector pump to stop working and in turn causing a backup in the first floor. The company quoted me $1200 which included a camera inspection afterwards. This got me thinking that maybe a good thorough cleaning every 4-5 years might be worth it if it prevents any major problems in the long run.
Any thoughts on this?
Thanks,
Tim
