A tenant application had two emotional support dogs on it

It appears we cannot charge rent or deposit for an emotional support dog, but my applicant has two dogs, can I charge for the second, or can they have unlimited emotional support dogs?

That's a very good question and a good example of why it's important to understand the law. Service animals and emotional support animals can only be prescribed one per disability. For example, a blind person cannot have three guide dogs, nor can a person dealing with anxiety have three emotional support animals. They can have multiple animals if each animal is prescribed for a different purpose.

I would simply deny this person and cut off communication.
