eviction of inherited tenants

Young investor here. I have 2 sfh and just bought my 1st 4plex on Sept 2021, by Dec, a tenant started not paying rent and making excuses. I sent him notification to terminate after 30 days since it's a month to month lease.  What's next? When can i file for eviction? What if the tenant doesnt show up in court? What if tenant doesnt leave after 30 days notice? do I have to hire an eviction company? NM state.
