Need to move on from my property manager

Hi,

First post here. I need to hire a new property manager due to ongoing issues with my current manager. What’s the best way to give notice to my current PM? Can I email? Do I need an official document?

My house is vacant currently and there are no additional fees required as my contract is month to month. Is there anything else I need to consider?

ThankS

If you read the management agreement it may give you the answers you seek.  Most will say "must inform by writing X days prior to termination".  We work with a ton of clients that leave terrible managers and come over to us and they all simply send an email to the current PM.

If it is vacant, get your new PM started ASAP as there is nothing holding them back but you.
