How much are you netting per door? Location?

I am comparing what I am making here in Maine to the difference in other states. I feel I am doing pretty well, but may be wrong. The difference with Maine is our properties are much less expensive which helps our mortgage. I have been averaging $275-300/door after debt services.

What are you making in your area?

@Andrew Michaud Hi Andrew. I’m averaging around $200. Some more, some less. None below $125. I’ve currently got 13 doors about to close on 2 more. I’m in northern New Hampshire in the White Mountains.

Aside from property taxes which eat us up here, heating oil is my number one cost if I can’t find properties where the tenants pay their own heat. I’ve got a couple buildings where they do, but have been spending extra on spray foam insulation in the basement where applicable to lower heating costs and improve cash flow in future years.
