Creating land trust to put your property in LLC

I have heard that its a possibility to put your rental properties in a land trust. Once you do this you would be able to create an LLC and put the land trust into the LLC. This would prevent the bank from calling the mortgage due for taking it out of your name, and also providing the protections the LLC. I was just checking to see if anyone has any experience with this. Thanks for the help.
