Does Anyone Use Coverage for Their Appliance's?

Hello BP Fam,

I was wondering today if I should keep my "Home Shield" Coverage once converting my primary to a rental. I have used them and have heard good things from friends that use them as well. I don't know if anyone on here knows if you can use them in the case of a rental? Has anyone run into this? I know home insurance in this sense is a divided subject but it's more of a safety net until my reserves build enough to the point that I really need them to be. Don't get me wrong I have reserves it's just that I do not have 20k on the sidelines in case of everything breaks at once. This is more of a way to safely get to a higher reserve build and fully covered in case something breaks.
