Issues with Chicago BACP Airbnb Registration

Account Closed
Posted

I own a two flat in Logan Square and one of the units has been on Airbnb and VRBO since early last summer. I have had major issues with the City of Chicago BACP Shared Housing portal and my registration application for Airbnb has been rejected with no explanation and I can no longer rent it short term. Airbnb has contributed to the confusion and I can't get a response from the City of Chicago despite reading everything they public, calling, and sending emails. My new registration application has been pending for over a month. I'm a superhost and never had an issue and am a legit owner/host. Is anyone else having these issues with Chicago Airbnb registration? Any advice
