Renter's insurances thoughts
Hey everyone,
I have a renter that is about to sign a lease contract; however, there is a dilemma about her getting renters insurance and I wonder if some of the members can throw some thoughts at me.
Well, the possible tenant has a home business and has business insurance, which hasn't allowed her thus far to obtain renter's insurance. I have been looking in a few places to see if California requires renter's insurance and I haven't found confirmation on that. Should I require her to get renter's insurance? My gut and findings lead me to believe I should. Let me know what everyone thinks!
Thanks,
Peter
