Winterzation through local non profit

My renter wants to sign up for a local non profit winterization plan. They will come through and look through the property and update anything that needs done for free. They will also help the tenant cover the utility bill on an as needed basis (renter has 5 kids). Tell me why I shouldn’t have the non profit come and help with winterization of the house?

Dont let those free  " winterization"  people to work on your house. I have seen homes where they almost destroyed HVAC ductwork by blowing loose insulation in the cold air return ducts.
