Abandoned Vehilce on recently purchased property...

I bought a duplex about a month ago and have an abandonded 545I BMW in the garage .... I contacted the owner and he seems unable or unwilling to get his vehicle. I have been told to just have it towed but I was wondering if anyone has experiance filing a storage lien. Is it possible without actually owning a storage facility?

Thanks,

Stuart

Stuart,

I see you are in Texas, and you can write the VIN # down and go to the DMV, and they will let you know if there is a lien on it and if it is worth anything file a storage lien on it. Or PM me, the plate number and I will check it.
