Best legal structure for single family portfolio?

Michael Nguyen
Posted

Hi Bigger Pockets Community,

This is my first time posting on this site as I had a question that I couldn't find anywhere else on the site.

If I have 20 houses with 15 of them being free and clear already put in LLC with umbrella insurance:

1- Can any one can suggest their best real estate attorney who is familiar with setting up a structure so nobody can find them in event of a lawsuit?

2- On the 5 properties with mortgage, banks do not allow them to put in LLC. What is the best option to protect and them hide from legal action?

Thank you for taking time to respond to this or follow this if you had a similar question!
