FHA 203K vs Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Renovation Loans

Hi,

What are the differences between the FHA 203K Loan versus the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Renovation Loans? Are payments for the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac renovation loans rolled up into the mortgage like the 203K loan does?

I know that there's only certain general contractors ["GCs"] that accept to do 203K loan projects. How do general contractors perceive the use of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Renovation Loans? Do GCs have to jump through similar hoops or are they more willing?

Thanks.
