Any CPA’s Who are willing to help me with taxes?
Hello,
I am an artist with an LLC in Colorado. I would like to start treating my music more like an actual small business and be smarter with how I invest my money into it. At some point I plan on doing the same with Real Estate investing, but I will be learning and doing it first with music.
As an artist there are many things that I need that are considered expenses when you look at it from a financial standpoint. I am in the process of getting my current employer to switch me over to a non tax withheld paycheck, and I plan on writing off as many of those expenses as possible with the additional money I will be payed out.
I am really excited to start being able to invest into my own work more, however I want to make sure I am doing it in the best and most legal way possible.
I’m currently located in the Denver area, however I will be moving to Portland, OR at the end of this July.

You should be able to look through all CPA on BP in the "network" section (very first line of the menu bar)...
So, you are getting your employer to hire you as an independent consultant so that you are no longer a W2 employee, but a 1099 IC? That is really what you need to do what it sounds like you want to do...
Good luck.
