Property Taxes

When someone owes multiple years of property taxes, and goes through a bankruptcy, how is that debt handled? When I view the tax records of a property, it will show "bankruptcy" as a note but then show all the years of property taxes owed. Does that mean the owner is responsible for them or not?

The debt stays with the property, no matter what.
