Hard Credit Inquires - finding the right mortgage loan

When starting out, how many potential lenders should one search for? I'm looking to acquire an FHA loan and have a 751 credit score (history only 4yrs1m) and understand I'll get a hard inquiry for a credit check. Is it worth it to get a few hits on my score to find the best rates possible? Or since they'll be multiple hits on a potential mortgage would their only be ONE HARD INQUIRY hit? Currently have pre preapproval from one lender and a borrowing power of $325,000 at fixed 3.5% interest and a 3.5% down payment. Attempting to house hack with a 4-family. Any advice or guidance would be much appreciated!!
