Tax Benefit on joint Tax return

I am investing on on multi family real estate ( Apartment complex). I file the tax return jointly and my wife is Home Maker.

The question is:

1. Should I add my wife's name in the subscription document?

2. What is the tax benefit in the sort term ( considering 5-7 years exit strategy), Do I have  ability to deduct depreciation of the property    from your taxable income?

Can someone provide insight, Preferably with example if my Investment is 100000 this year and exiting on 2025

Thanks
