When a bankruptcy start a pre-foreclosure over, is teh amount owed put into the bankrupty or is it not allowed to be included?
I know someone who is planning on filing for bankruptcy before the sale date on his pre-foreclosed home. Now, is he allowed to put what he owes to the bank on his bankruptcy? Does he get to pay less on his defaulted payments to help him save his home?
I have noticed most foreclosures result in the loss of a home anyway, and does not seem to be a way out to save a home, just to stall the process.
Can anyone advise me the details on this?
Thanks!!
