Where is your money going?

Just wanted to get a quick and dirty rundown of what everyone is thinking.

We look at the previous year 2017 and the stock market does about 20%. Cryptocurrencies become all the craze (though wildly risky).

Where is your money currently going?

If 2018 should be the same as the last, then is your money going into real estate?

Real estate is a solid and strong foundation however, for capital gains i dont believe it competed well overall with much other avenues this past year.

I would love to hear what you all think.

Thanks and take care!

I feel like I have a pretty solid plan in place. We just work the plan and don't go crazy when we do have to spend money. It's easier for me to do than my wife. When I see the bank account grow, it makes me want to save more and spend less. When my wife sees the bank account grow, she keeps thinking about what we could spend it on. I keep telling her to just think about the next house we can buy instead of some lavish vacation she might be thinking about. I'm not sure it works on her but I keep trying.
