Question Using a 401K & Roth for an Inital Investment
This is my first post on Bigger Pockets! Three colleagues and me, are in the beginning stages of developing a business to invest in a property. In order to produce enough cash for the first deal, I'll need to pull from my 401K and a Roth account. Has anyone undertaken the following legal process of creating a C-Corporation, selecting a 401K plan for the C-Corporation, rolling over your current 401k to the new C-Corp 401k, and use this to invest in a property?
Also, regarding the Roth, can I just simply divest my account because it's not pre-taxed?
Any specific insights, "things to watch for", and the overall process of what I need to do would be most helpful. Thank you!
