LLC Holding Title

Hi All,

I completed my first rental investment May of 2016. I was told since my LLC had no credit/assets, to buy in my name, wait until my mortgage was bought, then transfer title to my LLC. I have completed this process last week.

This week I ran a credit report and see that the mortgage debt is still populating on my credit report. My question is if this is correct since I am the owner of the LLC, or does this take some time to be reflected, or is there an error?

Additionally, now that the title is owned by my LLC will it still continue to affect my debt to income ratio since I am considering to buy another property with only 20% down? It is important to note that this has been rented since May of 2016 and each month has paid all expenses with an additional $300+ Cash flow.

Thanks guys!
