I need some advice! I am 75 yrs old. I have an IRA Which returns me 1.31 annually. I am forced to to take an annual disbursement around $1700.00. The IRA is 23,212.00, and pays 1.30% int. I would like to close the account and invest the funds into something that would give me something, to at least keep me from losing money on the IRA! I would like to invest the money in a duplex or triplex, for my decedents. As it stands the return isn!t keeping up with inflation. Should I possibly close the acct and pay the taxes &int, or just take the disbursement and grit my teeth? Thanks for any info. Bill
