FHA
I am looking to purchase my first investment property (multi-family) through an FHA loan. I have the credit score, 3.5%, work history, and income. My only delay is that I have a charge off on my credit report. I cosigned an auto loan for my mother a few years ago and she filled for bankruptcy chapter 13; and the vehicle that I cosigned for was involved. It has been 3yrs so far that my mother has filled chapter 13. Is there anyway that I can still get approved for an FHA loan even though this is showing up on my reports?
