I have been struggling with severe hearing loss for several years now, and it has significantly impacted my ability to work and carry out daily activities. I recently decided to apply for SSD benefits, but I'm feeling overwhelmed by the process. I was wondering if anyone here has gone through a similar situation or has knowledge about the topic. What kind of medical evidence should I gather to support my SSD claim for auditory issues? Are there any specific tests or reports that are particularly useful in this case? How can I demonstrate the functional limitations caused by my hearing loss? What kind of documentation or examples should I provide to the SSA to help them understand the impact on my daily life and ability to work?
