Divorce dealing with REI portfolio

Hey all... someone dear to me is unfortunately getting a divorce and she has a few rental properties with her husband under an LLC (he is a managing member). North Carolina required 1 year of separation (and he's not moved out yet). Would appreciate any experiences/advice/ideas/lawyer referrals/resources etc. She has been the breadwinner.

    Your friend should talk to her divorce attorney--the properties are probably under control of the court (the judge or psudo-judge in the case) via some kind of court order.
