House hack net cash flow spreadsheet
I’m trying to assess how much a house-hacked duplex would cost out of pocket monthly. I have crafted a custom spreadsheet and taxable income is $0 because it’s the Bay Area. The out of pocket is not cheap.
I need help to make sure I’m not missing anything on the personal side, deducting 50% of the mortgage interest (up to $750K loan amount) from W-2/Cap Gains, check. Can I deduct 50% property tax as well? Other things?
