Joint Account for Future Rental Investment

My partner and I are working on coming up with enough cash to start investing. We were thinking of creating a joint bank account which we can combine our cash together and use for future traditional rental properties as well as Airbnb/Verbo properties. Can anyone give advice on how we should go about doing this? Is there any benefit in creating a LLC and opening a business account and somehow deduct from our personal income for the amount we put into the business account? Any help and advice will be much appreciated. Thanks
