Real estate agent/broker needed to teach FSBO class $7000
Experienced real estate agent/broker needed to teach FSBO class. Retired is OK. An active license is not important.
We are looking for experienced (could be retired) real estate agents to teach online courses. Must be very presentable, have an easy going personality, and great presentational skills. Teaching experience is a plus. We will provide the core curriculum, technological tools, and students.
Great earnings opportunity once we are up and running: a single class (live webinars once a week for an hour and a couple of additional hours per weeks to prepare and answer questions/tests/emails). Fixed price $3,000 per month per class (4 classes) of up to 25 students. 10 weekly sessions are expected.
Couple questions for you @Jacob Bindler
1) Is it a 1099 Gig?
2) What hours are the proposed classes, do they vary weekly or fixed times?
3) What training platform are you utilizing? Does it involve video/audio/slide presentations or just message boards?
4) Is the focus teaching clients how to market and sell their own house, while maintaining compliance with NY regulations or is it more nationwide?

Mike,
- It is 1099,
- the schedule is once weekly, one-hour, live webinars. The rest of the time (3 to 4 hours per week estimated) will be spent by the instructor preparing for the class and answering questions.
- Live classes on Zoom. It will be up to the instructor to show himself/herself live or use the slide deck. In some way, it is a question of marketing by a specific instructor.
- The focus is to be a "personal trainer"/guide through the process while identifying the local issues but leaving them to the local experts such as attorneys, marketers, appraisals and of course the owner. The appeal is nationwide.
I hope it makes sense.
