Make sure you don't own another property within 100 miles of where you intend to buy. I'm sure that @Upen Patel  and @Reginald Truss will tell you this. I have some rentals here in the Bay Area and earlier this year I wanted to utilize an FHA Loan to buy a duplex here in the Bay Area but I found out the hard way that the FHA apparently does not allow you to already own property within a 100 mile limit of where you will owner occupy your FHA property.
