Updated over 7 years ago,
Have $$cash$$ and would like my first income property NOW.
Hi everyone. My name is Phil and I live in Modesto, California. Home of "American Graffiti".
I am new to RE investing. Yet I understand the mindset completely and would like 'a piece of the action'. Until now I have been pretty much broke and couldn't act on my RE investor urges. A recent inheritance, though, has given me some 'investment capital' that I can now use to begin attaining my investing goals.
I have a few hundred thousand in cash with which to invest in multi-family RE. I'd like to buy 'turnkey' rental properties - if possible - for some much desired 'passive income'. I recently heard Bill Manassero on a BIGGER POCKETS podcast and want to invest just like him.
I am presently early-retired at the age of 60 due to some health related reasons and am looking for at least $3,000.00 month in positive income/cashflow. We have no monthly debt accept for our utilities, food, fuel, and the insurance/s for our personal vehicles and home. Our home is 100% paid off and we hold the deed. So, we can pretty much start off on the right foot, debt free - for now. Later, when we have some properties and more experience, we'd like to use some leverage to possibly buy larger, multi-family properties. We want LOTS of "doors", ultimately, just like Bill does. lol
Can anyone help me to start off in the right direction? I need to find a good investment team for help in finding the best deals, great management team/s, etc., for a long-distance landlord. Buying out of state is no problem IF I can get the right help and deal/s. If you can steer me in the right direction you can email me at [[email protected]] if you think you can help me out to achieve my goal/s.
Thanks in advance to anyone and everyone that is willing to help me get headed in the right direction.
In the spirit of investing,
Phil R. Lanza Sr, (Modesto, CA)
