Looking for a mentor in real estate

Aloha,

I am interested in finding a mentor that can help direct me in becoming a successful real estate investor. My goal is to own apartment buildings around the United States that will generate $10,000 a month.

I live in Hawaii on the Big Island. At the moment Big Island is a sellers market. I have been looking into foreclosed property lately to see if I can buy under the market value. No luck so far.

I have a sister in law in Independence Missouri so I have also been looking at real estate there. Is there anyone out there that would be able to invest their valuable time in helping me get started or pointing me in the right direction.

I am currently 31 years old and a manager at Old Navy. My goal is to retire by the age of 35 from a job and invest full time...Thank you!
