I have a single family home in Marion WI (Waupaca County -- 2 hours north of Milwaukee, near Green Bay or Appleton).  It was remodeled in 2009.  New drywall throughout (with textured walls), new flooring, new paint, new kitchen cabinets, new gutters, new bathroom sinks, toilets, etc.

I just recently had the whole house painted on the interior, and added new carpeting in the living room, bedrooms, upstairs hallway, and stairs.  The lower level has hardwood floors in the dining room and office/den/bonus room. The kitchen, bathrooms, and first floor laundry also have vinyl flooring.

A stove and refrigerator are included in the purchase.

2014 property taxes were $1,833.24.

Some pictures:

Marion, WI is a rural area in northern WI.  The 2010 census gives the population as 1,260 people.  It's not unusual to see tractors or Amish buggies driving down the road.  (I actually saw 2 buggies and 1 tractor while I was last up there.)
