Creative Housing Proposal, Backed by Pending Settlement Payout

Nikkia Roberson
Posted

Hi, My name is Nikkia, and I’m relocating from Georgia to Houston to grow my DNA testing business and complete my degree in Radiology. I came across your property and wanted to reach out with a unique and secure rent-to-own proposal that could be a great fit if you're open to flexible terms.

I’m offering to move in under a deferred payment agreement that would allow me to maintain the home while you wait for a traditional sale. This arrangement would be legally protected and backed by a lien on a pending wrongful death settlement that is currently in the final stage of resolution (expected in 12–24 months).

Here’s how it would work:

I would move in and take care of the home immediately (utilities, upkeep, property taxes, and insurance included).

There would be no landlord responsibilities or involvement on your part.

We would sign a legal agreement handled by my attorney, securing your interests with a lien on the pending settlement.

Once the settlement is received, I will repay the full amount for the time I’ve lived in the home.

After that, we could transition into a traditional rent-to-own structure if you’re still open to selling the property directly.

As a gesture of appreciation, I’d also offer a 5% bonus on the amount repaid or toward the final purchase.

If you’re interested, no someone who may be or even just open to a conversation, I’d love the chance to talk. This could be a great way to put your property to good use while helping someone in transition secure a home with respect and responsibility.

Warmly,

Nikkia
